This year's National Farm Business Management Conference is traveling to the beautiful state of Pennsylvania and will take place in Harrisburg at the downtown Hilton Harrisburg.

Penn State Extension is excited to host this conference in 2018. They have been working on the conference details and are thrilled to offer you all that central Pennsylvania has to offer.

Co-coordinators, Maria Graziani, Extension Educator and Sarah Cornelisse, Senior Extension Associate, along with their Extension team members Carol Loveland and Lynn Kime and with support from a myriad of educators from the Penn State Extension South-Central Region, have put together a wonderful introduction to Pennsylvania agriculture and agricultural business education topics relevant throughout the U.S. Speakers such as current PA Agricultural Secretary Russell Redding, and experts in local food systems and agricultural business management will keep attendees abreast of all the areas relevant to their farming population.

Included in the conference are some exciting family events, including a Penn FC Soccer Game and Picnic and diverse agricultural tours of PA Dairy Farms, Orchards, Research Centers and local food markets! During your stay, you and your family will have the opportunity to visit Hershey, PA and Gettysburg, and its many attractions. So make it a summer outing and bring the family.

Join us to learn the latest and greatest on farm technology, economics, the current state of agriculture and the Farm Bill, farm viability, watershed resources and local food systems that impact our farmers across the U.S.
